Does anyone know of any good lesbian erotica? I'm looking for some lesbian erotica books that really get steamy. I bought a few of the compilations of erotic stories and was underwhelmed. Does anyone know of any lesbian authors who get hot and heavy in there books?
I'm thinking something like Laurell K Hamilton but without the men! Any suggestions? |
Oh...looking for books...I was going to recommend some sites but that'll probably get me reported eh?
I hope my friends don't see this answer...hehehe |
Lesbian Erotica??? I've read most of them and there aren't very many. So, I've decided to right a book of short stories. I believe my writing is very detailed and descriptive. Have you read these types of books? What do you think of them. Any suggestions? |
I have a book entitled "Herotica", which is a collection of short stories written for women, most of them about lesbian encounters.
My only suggestion would be to figure out who your target audience is. If it's women you're looking to attract as your readers and they're lesbian, then don't try to put men into your stories--because lesbians like girls. If you want both men AND women to read it, then you might want to make it more of a bi-curious thing where men are involved and women are with each other for the sake of being together...that's different from writing about lesbians.
Best of luck with your writing! There are plenty of small magazines that will probably accept your scripts. Either that or you could submit them to an online "publication". |
Lesbian vampire stories? does any one know of any good books about lesbian vampires? not any erotica or anything, but an actual story with interesting characters and conflict. maybe something along the lines like the twilight books, but obvisouly about lesbians. if any one has any suggestions, i'll appricate it alot. thanks. |
The Hunger by Whitley Streiber (well, Miriam is bi-sexual, not lesbian, but the book is about her trying to seduce a female whom she wants to make a vampire to be her companian)
In The Blood by Rick Reed. I wouldn't call it erotica, per say, but it does have quite a bit of sex in it.
Carmilla by Le Fanu |
Lesbian love stories?? I am looking for novels that have lesbians as the main characters, maybe a love story? Nothing erotica, which is what turns up when I do a search through google. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
I Don't Remember You by Stephanie Lennox
Annie on my Mind by Nancy Gardener
Kissing Kate by Lauren Myracle

An erotica question for the lovely lesbians? I was wondering what everyone though the best collection of lesbian erotica was. I tend to be overwhelmed when searching in stores or online and I have been disappointed in the past. I am looking for a well-written and steamy collection of short stories.
I am a fan of Sarah Waters but I'm looking for less story and more erotica to read outloud before bed, that kind of thing. My taste tends to run a little kinky so I'm not not afraid of that type of story. There was an Anne Rice collection about Sleeping Beauty that I also thought was great
So ladies, what is your favorite erotica? |
Some of my favorites:
Set In Stone: Butch-On-Butch Erotica (Angela Brown)
Best of On Our Backs (Vols. 1 & 2)
Best Bisexual Erotica (the ones edited by Bill Brent and Carol Queen)
The Leather Daddy and The Femme (Carol Queen)
Macho Sluts (Pat Califia)
Body Check: Erotic Lesbian Sports Stories (Nicole Foster) |
Sharing lesbian fantasies with an 17 years old boy? I’m a straight 29 years old woman. He is 17 but he writes very good lesbian erotic stories and I get “sensitive” when reading. We never met, we just talk via messenger. He encouraged me to write lesbian erotica and we change stories. There is also a 20 years old bisexual girl who is also sharing fantasies and a 35 years old lesbian in the “online club” and she is sharing lesbian experiences. But the boy writes the best stories. The younger girl is the most open, she already told him that she is touching herself reading his stories.
Is it wrong what we do? I mean he is just 17. Is it wrong for us to talk with him about women having sex with women and sharing our lesbian fantasies?
Do also other people stuff like that? |
if all engaged consent, it's ok.
Legally, you should most likely NOT send such novels to him, yet.. c'mon. What 17yo man had not had fantasies about lesbians. |
Do you know any good erotica? Im not talking about the crap from the porn store but actual stories/novels. For instance I loved the sleeping beauty books by Anne Rice (writing as A. N. Roquelaure) and anything by Joan Elizabeth Lloyd. I would also like to find some bi-sexual/lesbian erotica. Thanks in advance! |
Emma Holly and Zane are both popular erotica authors. Also, you may want to check Virgin Books Black Lace imprint: www.blacklace-books.co.uk/

Would you buy a book about a a lesbian love story? I'm not talking about erotica, in fact there is nothing erotic. I'm talking about the love between a couple that conflicts with their faith. Its about love and all the controversy of today's culture. Do you think that society would be interested in this type of story? |
| Yes, I think plenty of people would be interested. There are hundreds of books already about that. Well, they probably have some sex scenes, humans are sexual beings. But there are lots of books based on that idea. |
Does anyone know anyone that buys erotic stories? I can write lesbian,bi,and straight erotica. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. |
| Women with too much make up and smell like tuna. |
Did I turn into a lesbian because of what I did? Well, this is kind of embarrassing but I have to ask.
When I was about 11-12, I started to read 'erotic' stories. I started out reading heterosexual stories, then when I found out about the lesbian category, I knew I was more.. 'fascinated' by it. So since then, I've only ever gotten off on lesbian erotica. I never watched pornography at that time, just that it was in written format.
I remember that I've always been interested in girls.. you know, in that book/movie (non-erotic) I was always drawn to that girl. I never realized that up until now.
I feel guilty. Did I turn into a lesbian because I read lesbian erotica when I was young? (I'm 16 now). I am turned off by heterosexual/gay male erotica/p*rnography - I did try it, but it didn't turn me on. |
Although some pundits may disagree, the simple answer is "no".
Would you become a murderer if you had a passion for reading murder mysteries?
It is debatable how much the repeated exposure to any source of media can influence the shaping of one's intellect and/or morals, but I think that it is generally believed that exposure to any stimuli , whether "positive" or "negative", even upon repeated exposure, has little, if any, potential for shaping the mental outlook and feelings of an average person who is non-pathological.
If he is however, "negative" stimuli, instead of being processed via our filters of sanity, will instead possibly be viewed and be misconstrued for the convenience of 'fitting into' and/or reinforcing the inflicted's pathology.
(e.g., A person who is mentally disturbed may be inspired to commit a crime by reading a murder mystery.)
Being gay and/or lesbian is not an illness and is certainly not considered a pathology by all psychiatrists of any repute living today.
Therefore, in short, you have absolutely nothing at all to worry about.
Conversely, gays of course can't be made straight as well, simply by reading heterosexual erotic literature.
Sigh. If it were only that easy! |
