| Honestly, it depends on who is being tortured. I'm a lot more likely to read all the way through a torture scene if it's a bad guy being tortured for information, or some such. If the scene involves harming a character I've come to like, I'll more likely skim over it for important story bits and read more intensely again when the torture section is finished. |
